This week saw us end off Term 2, with a Fun and Games night that incorporated little elements from previous nights in the year. We hope all cubs rest up for Term 3! We also welcome back Mysa, and our new Baloo to Monday night, wish Rama well and our new Kaa on Tuesday night.
The Gap Cub Scouts is an active section of The Gap Scout Group. We meet most weeks of the school term, normally at our den, with one pack on Monday and another on Tuesday, 6:30pm to 8:00pm. We are based at Paten Park, The Gap, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Jungle Book Movie Night
This week was our indoor Jungle Movie Night (which was just as well after all the rain and the mushy ground) in a joint pack night with popcorn and warm chocolate milk. Parents were also given a preview of Cuboree 2014. We also said goodbye to 4 cubs who were taken away by some ninja scouts. Good luck Emma, Jacob, Liam and Struan.

Cuboree Fundraising at The Gap Health & Racquet Club
Hi All, over the last two weeks a couple of Leaders and their families from The Gap Scout Group, and a friend or two, arranged and ran a sausage sizzle at The Gap Health & Racquet Club on Settlement Rd, during the Interschool Tennis Cup on Sunday morning. I'd particular like to thank the cubs; JacobL, RyanL, CalebP, WilliamB one joey; JordanP and friend Flynn who were such great help, not just serving behind the counter, but going out around the courts to take orders and hand deliver them.
I'd particularly like to thank The Gap Health & Racquet for the opportunity and the use of their facilities.
