Gee we had a lot on tonight. Our program covered Boomerang 11 - Natural Environment, but as well as that we awarded two Bronze Boomerangs, two Level 2 Literature badges, three Link badges and one 1-Year Service badge. In the midst of closing parade Scouts arrived and 'stretched' away three of our Cubs. We say goodbye to Jack, Jenna and Mikayla.
The Gap Cub Scouts is an active section of The Gap Scout Group. We meet most weeks of the school term, normally at our den, with one pack on Monday and another on Tuesday, 6:30pm to 8:00pm. We are based at Paten Park, The Gap, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Cub Scout Traditions
Hi All. Cub Scout Traditions was on the menu this week where we looked at some of the history of Scouting and the Jungle Book for Cub Scouts. The skits put on by the cubs were well done and great to watch.

Outdoor Cooking
This week was outdoor cooking as part of our Outdoor Scouting Boomerang. Cubs made damper twists, hot dogs on a stick and shish-ka-babs. Well done all...although the den floor wont recover for a while from all of the flour. A special thanks to Brendon for staying and helping us out on monday night.
